Individual Awards

Individual awards will be presented to each of the top three entries in each of the 2015 BJCP Style Categories and Best of Show.

Club Awards

The Rocky Mountain's Best Homebrew Club will be determined based on the total points earned in the following categories.

Awarded to the top three individual club member winners in each of the BJCP Style Guideline categories:

  • 1st Place Entry = 5 points
  • 2nd Place Entry = 3 Points
  • 3rd Place Entry = 2 Point

Additionally, Best of Show winners will accrue the following:

  • Best of Show Beer = 7 points
  • Best of Show Mead/Cider = 7 points

Each judge and steward representing a club will also accrue 1 point for the club. Only 1 point per judge/steward will be given, regardless of how many sessions.

All these points will be added and presented during Rocky Mountain Homebrew Club Challenge awards ceremony. The Colorado Front Range club with the most points will win the coveted Foamer Firkin to use for one year as The Rocky Mountain's Best Homebrew Club.

The winning club's name and year won will be engraved on the Foamer Firkin and that club will also get to keep the Firkin in their possession to use for that year until they need to defend their title the following year.

Pro-Am Breweries

Three Colorado breweries will choose among the Best of Show entries as their ProAm entry in the 2015 Great American Beer Festival ProAm Competition: http://www.station26brewing.co/.
